MSI expands ‘Make in India’ with Katana and Crosshair laptops

MSI has expanded its 'Make in India' initiative by locally manufacturing its flagship Katana and Crosshair laptops with NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Graphics at its Chennai facility. MSI has announced that it will expand its Make in India programme by producing its flagship Katana and Crosshair laptop series locally in its Chennai plant with Syrma SGS Technology. The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Graphics will now be available in both series and will provide Indian consumers with access to next-generation gaming and productivity devices manufactured domestically.

India is emerging as one of the fastest developing markets at MSI due to the increased demand among gamers, content makers and professionals. The introduction of the Katana and Crosshair brands to the local manufacturing process will underscore MSI’s belief in the strength of the Indian electronics ecosystem, as well as bring high-end technology at more affordable prices to Indian customers.

The Crosshair will be available in India at Rs 189,990 in an introductory price due to its futuristic design based on the gaming culture.
