Nothing appoints Himanshu Tandon as VP of Business to Lead CMF’s global expansion

Nothing, a London-based technology brand, has hired Himanshu Tandon as the Vice President of Business under the sub-brand CMF. In this position, Tandon will lead global strategy, business development, and go-to-market implementation, with India serving as the key centre of the brand internationally. The action follows CMF reinforcing its position in the mass-market technology space in terms of design-led innovation and user experiences.

Since the company has recently transferred its global marketing operations to India, the country has become a strategic launchpad for CMF expansion. The hiring of Tandon, who previously played a key role in the expansion of POCO India, is an indication that Nothing will speed up the expansion of CMF on a global scale. His leadership will make CMF a successful cultural and technological brand, especially to Gen Z and younger consumers.

The CEO of Nothing, Carl Pei, emphasised that CMF was designed to be disruptive to the consumer technology market that is predictable and specification-focused. Tandon’s vision for CMF

In an interview Tandon commented that CMF appeals to young people of the modern generation and could become a cultural figure of Gen Z around the globe. He said that he will focus on enhancing CMF as a disruptive and design-driven brand. Tandon has more than eight years of top management skills. Working as Country Head in POCO India, he has been able to make the brand grow tremendously and get recognition. Among the awards he received are Times 40 Under 40, Tech Personality of the Year 2023, and Economic Times Most Promising Leader of Asia.
