Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched its Non-Stop Hero Plan in every telecom circle in India, and it is the only prepaid plan in the country which offers full-day unlimited data. The plan was previously accessible in a few markets, but it is now live pan-India, providing users with uninterrupted 4G/5G internet with no daily data caps. The plan, which costs Rs 365 monthly to start with, will help to solve a frequently occurring issue of prepaid data running out and the need to top up more.
Vi also launched a new campaign to celebrate the national launch, making Non-Stop Hero the only prepaid plan in the country that provides unlimited 24x7 data with just one recharge for the whole month. The advertising will be carried out on both TV and digital, where users are expected to have much more dependence on mobile internet at work, study, streaming, gaming, and socialisation.
Under this expansion, this plan is offered in major priority markets such as Delhi, Mumbai, U.P. (West), Bihar, and West Bengal, along with other circles launched earlier. Vi Super Hero plans which use half-day unlimited data are still available in 12 circles, with Vi Hero plans still offering unlimited night-time internet.
On the performance of Q1FY26, the CEO of Vodafone Idea, Akshaya Moondra, commented that the company has introduced 5G in 22 cities across 13 circles and hopes to roll it out further as 5G users continue to grow. He further said that consumption of data has surged to new records with the success of the Hero and Non-Stop Hero plans.
Vi has stressed that it is the sole carrier in India to provide prepaid unlimited data recharges. It has three flagship plans in its Hero portfolio: Hero, Super Hero and Non-Stop Hero.
Avneesh Khosla, CMO of Vi, stated that data is like electricity now, and getting short of it in the middle of work can be annoying. Under Non-Stop Hero, users will have unlimited data access all day without caps or recharge. The company has gone ahead to add that the majority of the prepaid users deplete the data three to seven times each month and have to purchase add-ons. Non-Stop Hero eliminates this issue altogether and provides continuous use at a set price.
