New Delhi: After the deadly Pahalgam terror attack in April 2025 that killed 26 civilians, India retaliated by launching Operation Sindoor. It was a devastating counter-attack against terrorist bases in Pakistan and its Occupied Territories as India broke the back of terrorism.

Lashkar admits Operation Sindoor's success

Even Hafiz Abdul Rauf, the commander of Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has admitted Operation Sindoor's crushing blow to its headquarters at Markaz-e-Taiba, reducing them to dust on the night of May 6-7, 2025.

Rauf makes startling confessions

During the convocation ceremony, Rauf revealed how Operation Sindoor ripped the terrorist group apart. The operational commander of Lashkar involved in training terrorists and launching them, said, "It was a major attack, but Almighty Allah saved us. These children were not here."

He added, "Modi said, 'We attacked terrorist hideouts', but Pakistan was attacked. He also said that “the state has decided, that's why we can do this," with New Delhi time and again alleging State-sponsored terrorism of Pakistan.

Rauf praises China for helping Pakistan

Rauf acknowledged China's help to Pakistan during the latter's armed conflict with India. He said that Beijing gave Pakistan near-real-time intelligence on India. He said that "those whose fighter jets were being sold have become scrap", and what was being called "Chinese goods" is now in "demand worldwide". He added, "The European market has collapsed, and the US is forced to praise Pakistan."

Notably, the US has also upped its ante in the fight against terrorism. President Donald Trump had earlier ordered "powerful and deadly" strikes against ISIS terrorists in northwest Nigeria over persecution of Christians, saying his administration will not allow radical Islamic terrorism to prosper. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that the strike was carried out “at my direction as Commander in Chief” and targeted ISIS militants whom he described as “terrorist scum."
