Trump makes Greenland claim again
About Europe, he said, "I love Europe, but it's not heading in the right direction. There is unchecked migration in Europe." He commented on Greenland and said that the island is "sitting undefended in a key strategic location." The US President added, "We need Greenland for strategic national and international security. It is a vast underdeveloped territory." He 'reminded' everyone present how the US 'saved' the planet during World War II and without them, "Europe would be speaking German."
During the address, Trump said, "No one can save Greenland other than the United States. All the US is asking for is Greenland, and we do not want to use force. He also mentioned how Canada "gets a lot of freebies from the US".
Trump said, "We want a piece of ice for world protection, but they won't give it. We are asking for very little, and it will be very good if you say yes. If you say no, we will remember. We have a very strong military now, and secured borders." Regarding NATO, he said that the organisation probably won't help the US in its quest for Greenland.
