New Delhi: An Indian woman who visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris shared a review of the most expensive lunch she had in the city. The woman claimed she was never visiting the restaurant again. Ishwarya, the travel vlogger, posted a video of her experience on YouTube and Instagram.
In the video posted on her account 'Make Travel Easy’, Ishwarya stated that she dined at a highly-rated restaurant named Le Jules Verne on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. However, the lunch at the two-Michelin-starred eatery was disappointing. The woman was unhappy with the hard bread and asked the server if they could provide soft bread. Further, she claimed that the starter was cold, rating it a 2 out of 10. However, the main dish was better, according to Ishwarya. She rated it a 7 out of 10. To her surprise, the dessert was really disappointing. She rated it a 1 out of 10.

"I will never go here again. The most expensive lunch i had turned out like this," wrote the woman. Further, she claimed that there was another woman who left the same about the food. Explaining the situation, Ishwarya stated that an 82-year-old woman from New Zealand was also struggling with the food at the restaurant.
"She was struggling, so I helped her go to a nearby supermarket to get some biscuits and then escorted her back to her hotel because she was unable to go by herself,” added the content creator.
The video sparked numerous comments. Many schooled the woman on French cuisine. They called her ignorant for visiting a French eatery and having no appreciation for their food. One wrote, "European breads are supposed to be hard..not all breads are soft..there are so many different types of breads..” Another person explained that the French breads should be dipped in soup and then had. "Elders often have hard time chewing hard foods. That's why they complain," opined one.
