2026 Kawasaki Z900 unveiled, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh
2026 Kawasaki Z900 has received some cosmetic changes and a little bit of a performance upgrade after getting major upgrades in the 2025 version of the bike.
New Delhi: The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 has been launched at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Japanese middleweight naked came with substantial upgrades coming into 2025; hence, the MY26 bike doesn’t see many mechanical changes now. The new Z900 comes with all the updates introduced in the 2025 model, including the styling changes and revised electronics.
The bike is powered with a 948 cc inline-4 liquid-cooled engine that makes 125 bhp and 98.6 Nm of torque, which Kawasaki India’s website notes is 1 hp and 1.2 Nm of torque more than the previous year’s model and is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki Z900 features
The electronic package comes unchanged, offering ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, power modes, riding modes, traction control and dual-channel ABS. There is the 5-inch TFT console like before, along with wheelie control, and the chassis and suspension setup remain the same, making the handling both sharp and approachable.
In 2026, the Kawasaki Z900 also gets two new colour schemes, one being the iconic Candy Green colourway that was unavailable on the 2025 iteration, while the other is a black black paint option with a gold frame. Following the revised GST, Kawasaki Z900 pricing climbed to Rs 10.18 lakh from Rs 9.52 lakh.
Now, though, the Z900 is back to the Rs 10 lakh mark with the bike being the brand’s most popular offering in the country. The bike comes with the same aggressive stance that has been the biggest highlight. The launch comes at the best time of the festive season, and the new shades will be welcomed by buyers.
