BYD India hits 10,000 EV deliveries, amidst steady EV demand
BYD have crossed 10,000th deliveries in India with a lineup that includes BYD SEALION 7, the BYD ATTO 3 eSUV, the BYD eMAX 7 eMPV, and the BYD SEAL.
New Delhi: BYD India, a subsidiary of BYD, one of the leading manufacturers, are celebrating a milestone in India, with the delivery of their 10,000th electric vehicle in India. This is a display of the growing enthusiasm of Indian consumers towards EVs along with BYD’s cutting-edge EV technology.
BYD India have been growing steadily, with 44 dealership outlets across key cities and strengthening their after-sales service, nationwide roadside assistance and extended warranty programs. BYD are creating a customer-first journey that stands out amidst its rivals. The brand has also partnered with Relux Electric to supply and deliver better charging services to customers.
These steps in India reinforce BYD’s global leadership in NEVs, with over 13 million NEVs sold across the world. The company have said that they have saved over 106.52 billion kilograms of carbon emissions as of July 31, 2025, which is equal to CO₂ being absorbed by nearly 1.77 billion trees. BYD have a current brand value of USD 14.4 billion, with a 43.6 per cent year-on-year increase.
The brand recently also inaugurated their first-ever track, the world’s first-ever all-terrain circuit. It is located in Zhengzhou and includes a wet skating track, a cross-country mountain slope, sandy terrain, an asphalt track and also has eight characteristic experience scenarios, including snow.
