Hero brings Destini 110 at Rs 72,000, comes in a competitive segment

Hero have brought the Destin 110, with two variants that are lying in a rather competitive range, challenging the Honda Activa 110 and the Activa DLX.

New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp have launched the new Destini 110 in India, priced at Rs 72,000 for the VX Cast Drum variant and the ZX Cast Disc comes at Rs 79,000. The scooter is coming in a very competitive segment that includes the Honda Activa and TV Jupiter 110. It will be available in a phased manner across the country’s Hero dealership. 

The Destini 110 comes with a neo-retro design with chrome accents, projector LED headlights and H-shaped LED tail-lamps, a design largely similar to the Destini 125. The Destini 110 is powered by a 110 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 8.1 bhp and 8.8 Nm.

It is available in two variants VX and ZX, with the main difference being that the ZX variant is equipped with a front disc brake and a pillion backrest. Apart from these changes, both models are equipped similarly with LCD dash, projector headlight and DRL.

The VX variant, coming at Rs 72,000, is available in three colours: black, blue and white. The ZX trim swaps the white and blue options for grey and red and comes priced Rs 79,000. The base VX undercuts the segment leader Honda Activa 110’s base variant by Rs 2,369, with the top-spec ZX undercutting the Activa DLX by Rs 5,021.
