New Delhi: Mahindra have launched the 2025 Bolero Neo with a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The upgraded sub-4-meter, ladder-frame SUV receives some design changes and gets new features on the inside as well. However, it still comes with a diesel engine and a core mechanical setup. Just like the classic Bolero, Bolero Neo also comes with an added top-spec N11 trim in the upgrade.

While the base variant sits at Rs 8.49 lakhs, the top trim is now priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, and the variants differ by Rs 1.5 lakh. Bolero Neo in the price is much unchallenged, coming as a cheap entry to the SUV range.

Bolero Neo gets a refreshed front fascia, highlighted by the new grille design, which are combined with silver horizontal accents. It also comes with a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The sub-4-meter’s boxy, tough silhouette, along with the tailgate-mounted spare wheel, keeps the ruggedness of the Bolero.

It gets new colour schemes including Jeams Blue and Concrete Grey, and will stand with the previous offerings of Diamond White, Stealth Black, Pearl White and Rocky Beige, and even Dual-tone colour options are available now.

The biggest upgrade in the Bolero Neo is the 9-inch touchscreen system, increasing from its previous 7-inch unit. It now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and comes with a rear-view camera. The cabin gets a new dual-tone theme as well, nd has black across the top of the dashboard and in the middle and further gets a new USB-C-type charging port.

The 2025 Bolero Neo still comes with the 1.5-litre, three-cylinder mHawk 100 diesel engine that makes 100 bhp and 260 Nm of max torque. Mahindra have said that, like the classic Bolero, it gets improved ride quality and handling with upgrades of the new suspension and brake dynamics.

Even though Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza are in the sub-4-meter competition, the rough, rugged image with the Bolero neo’s body-on-frame, RWD chassis makes up for a strong competition and is an affordable option as a workhorse utility segment.
