Mahindra XUV 7XO Premium SUV to make global debut in January 2026
Mahindra have revealed that their upcoming XUV 7XO, which will be the next generation of the XUV 700, will make its global debut on January 5th, 2026.
New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra Auto have officially revealed the name of their next premium SUV, the XUV 7XO, which will make making world premiere on January 5th, 2026. The new model comes in the platform of the XUV700, which has been a popular choice in the market for the last four years.
The brand said the XUV 7XO represents an evolution of the previous incarnation with improvements in design, technology, comfort and even in performance. The announcement as Mahindra is trying to solidify their position in the country’s premium SUV market.

The brand has said that the idea is to combine the features that make the XUV700 with upgraded specifications across multiple categories. In the teaser that the brand has shown, it comes with 7-shaped DRLs that frame the headlight cluster with trapezoidal LED light units. It is quite like the XEV 9S recently launched, as are the tail-lights, but quite distinct. The grille, too, appears to be coming with a new version of Mahindra’s iconic slatted design.
It is expected that details about specifications, pricing and availability will all be premiering at the January premiere event. The XUV 7XO will be the second model to follow the brand’s new nomenclature for their ICE models, coming after XUV 3XO, which was the facelift of the XUV300 more or less.
