MG lowers the pricing of Hector and Astor for limited time period
MG are celebrating six years in the country with discounts on two of their first models in the country, the Astor and Hector, keeping the portfolio competitive.
New Delhi: Celebrating six years of operating in India, JSW MG Motor have launched special anniversary prices for some trims of the Hector and Astor SUVs. The company is offering limited-time price cuts with additional financial convenience, including 100 per cent on-road funding and EMI holiday choices for the festive period.
In their six years in the country, MG has remodelled the premium SUV segment with a much lower price tag. MG Motor in 2019 came with Hector and Astor to launch the brand in India, and this price reduction keeps them very much on the neck of their competition, which has been increasing a lot. The time limit for the pricing hasn’t been clarified yet by MG Motors.
MG Hector discounts
In their price cut, MG Hector Sharp Pro MT trim, which is one of the higher trims of the car, gets a significant price cut and will come at Rs 19.59 lakh ex-showroom price. Diesel and CVT variants are still coming at a more premium price. However, across the Hector lineup, including the standard, six-seater and seven-seater Hector Plus models coming at a special price.
MG Astor discounts
MG have also launched a much lower starting price for the Astor, which is their sub-compact SUV. Their base Astor Sprint trim is now priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, which undercuts many of its rivals at present. The discount is more to attract interest in the Astor lineup.
Astor trims with more features, which include ADAS, ventilated seat and the i-Smart 2.0 connected car package, are excluded from the special offer.
