Nissan reveals more details about upcoming Magnite Kuro in new teaser

Nissan Mgnite Kuro, like its previous iteration expected to get a blacked-out treatment as well on both the inside and outside, and will be based on the top variant, the Tekna.

New Delhi: Nissan India are close to launching an all-black version of their compact SUV Magnite. Named Nissan Magnite Kuro, with the word in Japanese meaning dark, the blacked-out version has yet again been teased. Nissan had discontinued the Kuro edition of the Magnite after the facelift was launched in October last year. 

Thus far, Nissan India have teased about the exterior of the new Magnite Kuro. The teaser also shows that the compact SUV is finished in all-black paint from the roof rails all the way down to the 16-inch alloy wheels. There isn’t any particular design change expected of the compact SUV.

Just like the previous iteration of the Magnite Kuro, the roof liner, sun visors, door handles, steering wheel and AC vent surrounds are expected to get a blacked-out treatment as well. It is expected that, like the predecessor, the upcoming Magnite Kuro will be based on the top variant, the Tekna.

Expected features of Nissan Magnite Kuro

Further, the new Magnite Kuro is going to share the features list and safety kit with the range-topping variants, and is expected to come with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a six-speaker sound system tuned by ARKAMYS,a  7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto headlights, cruise control, 6 airbags, three-point seat belts for all passengers, ambient lighting, ISOFIX anchors, ABS, traction control, a tyre pressure monitor, a 360-degree camera and hill-start assist. 

It is expected to come with the 100 bhp producing 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, with five-speed and CVT options like the previous version of the Nissan Magnite Kuro. The standard Magnite is currently coming with a 72 bhp, 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine with five-speed manual and AMT options.
