Tata debuts Harrier Adventure X and Safari Adventure X+

New Delhi: Tata Motors have unveiled the All-New Adventure X Persona of their flagship SUVs, the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari. In the new offering, the brand has revamped their lineup, making the trims simpler, delivering adventure, performance and features. Coming at a good value for money, the two cars give customers a taste of an adventurous lifestyle.

The two SUVs have been filled with segment-first features at their price point, and the Harrier and Safari Adventure persona get ADAS with adaptive Cruise Control, 360-degree HD surround view, Trail Hold EPB with Auto Hold, Trail Response Modes, which include normal, rough and wet, a Land Rover-derived  Command Shifter (AT). 

Other features include Ergo Lux Driver Seat with Memory and Welcome Function, a 26.03 cm Ultra-View Twin Screen System, Aqua Sense Wipers, Trail Sense Auto Headlamps and Multi driving modes that include city, sport and eco.

Coming at an introductory pricing of Rs 18.99 lakh for the Harrier Adventure X and Rs 19.99 lakh for the Safari Adventure X+ persona, which can be availed from today. Tata Motors have said the launch of the new variant makes the Harrier and Safari lineup more intelligent, value-packed and cohesive than before in the high SUV segment. Coming with more features, colour options, and a streamlined persona structure. The lineup further gets a new Pure X persona, which offers enhanced value to the customers at a better pricing point.

The Adventure X comes on the OMEGARC architecture from the Land Rover’s Legendary D8 Platform and is powered by the 2.0-litre KRYOTEC diesel engine, for amazing performance from both Harrier and Safari Adventure X. 

Both cars are proper SUVs with commanding road presence with good proportion, high-set bonnet and quite an elevated driving position. Further, the Harrier gets the R17 Titan Forged Alloys and the signature brand mascot on the doors. The Safari comes with R18 Apex Forged Alloys along with an iconic mascot. On the inside, the Safari comes with Adventure Oak interiors, in Tan oak-inspired leatherette and quite rich tan accents in the cabin as well. The cabin’s soft touch has improved as well, along with being loaded with features. 

Both cars have the pricing on their side as a premium SUV, with Safari competing with the Mahindra XUV 700, while Tata will face competition from the Jeep Compass.
