Vauxhall Corsa GE Vision GranTurismo powertrain
The concept is powered by a dual-motor electric powertrain, with a 469 bhp motor on each axle, which combines to make 789 bhp and a torque of 800 Nm. The single-speed transmission and permanent all-wheel drive give it instantaneou response and keep it stable as well. A boost function adds 79 bhp for four seconds, recharging in four intervals of 20 seconds. All of this comes from a rather compact 82 kW battery, with the kerb weight coming to 1,170 kg.
It is much lower, wider and aggressive to look at, measuring 4190 mm in length, 1870 mm in width and 1400 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2650 mm. It comes with a slimmed-down Vauxhall Vizor grille, futuristic glass-block lighting, an illuminated Griffin emblem and has sharp body lines inspired by motorsport. On the back, there is also a Compass signature braking light and bold Vauxhall lettering.
