New Delhi: Bank of Baroda has come up with a fixed income scheme for its customers that offers interesting returns. RBI has slashed its policy rate by 100 basis points, inching up to 5.50 percent since February 2025, leading to the downfall in interest rates of FD by several banks. Despite this, Bank of Baroda is still promising returns. The country's third-largest public sector bank in terms of market capitalisation (M-Cap) is offering interest ranging from 3.50 percent to 7.20 percent on the fixed deposit (FD).

Bank of Baroda FD Interest Rates

The bank is giving an interest rate between 3.50 percent and 4 percent on the FD made for a period of 7 days to 14 days. The hefty interest rate is something that is levied on the FD made for the 444-day special FD, where the interest rate ranges from 6.60 percent to 7.20 percent. On an FD made for 1 year, the general interest rate lies between 6.50 percent and 7 percent. Simultaneously, interest rates on an FD of more than 2 years are attracting an even higher interest rate of 6.50 percent for general citizens, 7 percent for senior citizens, and 7.10 percent for super senior citizens (above 80 years of age).
