Kolkata: BlueStone Jewellery IPO seems to have failed to generate sufficient investor enthusiasm in the first two days of the bidding process of the issue. In the evening of August 12 -- the second day of the bidding process -- the level of subscription stood at 0.66 times overall -- 0.75 times in the retail investor category, 0.84 times in QIB (Ex Anchor) category and 0.23 times in the NII category.
The public issue is a bookbuilt issue that is designed to mobilise Rs 1,540.65 crore. It will do so through a combination of fresh issue of 1.59 crore shares aggregating to Rs 820.00 crores and an OFS part of 1.39 crore shares to raise Rs 720.65 crore. The bidding will close today. The allotment date of BlueStone Jewellery shares is tomorrow, Aug 14 and the shares will list on BSE and NSE on August 19, 2025.
According to investorgain, BlueStone Jewellery IPO GMP (Grey Market Premium) has been continuously sliding since August 6, when it stood at Rs 35, indicating a listing gain of 6.77%. Then it began its downhill journey and reached Rs 16 on August 7, Rs 9 on August 10, and finally R 2.50 on August 12. At this level, it indicates a listing gain of 0.48%. However, it must be remembered that GMP is an unofficial indicator that changes with time and does not guarantee anything -- listing gain or loss.
The BlueStone Jewellery IPO price band has been fixed at Rs 492-517.00 a share. A retail investor has to apply for a minimum of 29 shares for which he/she will need to pay n application money of Rs 14,848. For an sNII category of investor, the minimum lot contains 406 shares, while for a bNII investor, the minimum number of shares to be bid for is 1,943.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, IIFL Capital Services and Axis Capital have been appointed the book running lead managers to the issue and Kfin Technologies is the registrar.
