Bulk Deals Dec 4: Mutual Funds Buy/Sell top stocks - Greenlam, Alivus & More

December 4 witnessed significant bulk deals, with mutual funds, promoters, and big investors actively trading various stocks. DSP and HDFC Mutual Funds made reverse deals in Greenlam Industries. ICICI Prudential acquired Alivus Life Sciences shares, while Kotak Mahindra invested heavily in Yatharth Hospital and Whirlpool, signaling key institutional shifts and market movements across several companies.

New Delhi: It is often seen that investors are eyeing stocks where mutual funds invest or withdraw money. In this sequence, many important bulk deals were seen in the trade of December 4, where mutual funds, promoters and big investors bought and sold different stocks. Among these, the most talked about was the reverse deals of DSP Mutual Fund and HDFC Mutual Fund in Greenlam Industries.

Alivus Life Sciences

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has acquired 9.70 lakh shares of Alivus Life Sciences. This is equal to 0.70 percent stake in the company, which was purchased at a price of Rs 870 per share. The high-value deal indicated institutional support to the stock.

Greenlam Industries

Greenlam Industries witnessed the biggest institutional upheaval of the day. DSP Mutual Fund bought 28.02 lakh shares, i.e. 1.10 percent stake, at Rs 243.5 per share. On the contrary, HDFC Mutual Fund sold 26.25 lakh shares, i.e. 1.03 percent stake, at the same price.

Yatharth Hospital and Whirlpool

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has made a big purchase in both Yatharth Hospital and Whirlpool recently. In Yatharth Hospital, the fund acquired about 8 lakh shares through bulk deals on NSE, with an average price of about Rs 719.37 and this is about 0.83 percent of the total stake of the company.

In Whirlpool too, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has made huge purchases through bulk deals on BSE. Here the fund raised around 11 lakh 41 thousand shares, the average price of which was about Rs 1041 and it accounts for about 0.90 percent of the company's equity.

Jyoti Global Plast

Investor Viradia Ramesh Ramjibhai bought 1.22 lakh shares in Jyoti Global Plast at a price of Rs 55.77 per share, which is equivalent to 0.62 percent stake of the company. On the other hand, 3 Sigma Global Fund sold 1.04 lakh shares i.e. 0.52 percent stake.

Nectar Lifesciences

A big sale was recorded in Nectar Lifesciences, where Jaideep Sampath sold 16.96 lakh shares at a price of Rs 20.54 per share. This deal is equivalent to the company's 0.76 percent stake. On the selling side, it was one of the main deals of the day.

Paramount Dye Tec

Comely Electrical Private Limited bought 1.21 lakh shares in Paramount Dye Tec, which is equivalent to the company's 1.75 percent stake. This purchase was made at the price of Rs 52.99 per share and being a company with lower free-float, investors were very focused on this.

Pramara Promotions

Bhansali Jewellery House bought 0.75 lakh shares at Rs 349.5 per share in Pramara Promotions. At the same time, promoter Rohit Nandkishore Lamba sold 1.05 lakh shares i.e. 0.75 percent stake.
