Kolkata: The shares of ICICI Pru AMC IPO will be done today, Dec 17, following its successful public issue. The Rs 10,602.65-crore public issue was lapped up 39.17 times overall -- 2.53 times in the retail category, 123.87 times in QIB (Ex Anchor) category and 22.04 times in the NII category. The IPO also saw a mad rush among anchor investors who queued up to pick up shares before the IPO.
Given the level of bids, a large number of applicants will be eager to know the status of their applications -- whether they have been lucky enough to receive shares or not. There are two ways of checking the allotment status online -- through the BSE (or NSE) website and the portal of the registrar.
ONE: Visit the BSE portal. Proceed to Equity
TWO: Go to “IPO allotment” window on this portal
THREE: Click on ICICI Pru AMC IPO as issue type
FOUR: Type your PAN (Permanent account number) or IPO application number
FIVE: Click ‘Search’ to view status
ONE: Go to the website of and Kfin Technologies, which is the registrar to the issue
TWO: Click IPO allotment
THREE: Choose "ICICI Pru AMC" from a dropdown menu
FOUR: Type your PAN or Client ID/DP
FIVE: Enter Captcha and click ‘Submit’ to check allotment status
According to investorgain, ICICI Prudential AMC IPO GMP stood at Rs 344 in early morning of Dec 17. Considering a price band of Rs 2,165, ICICI Prudential AMC IPO's estimated listing price will be Rs 2,509 and the listing gain it signalled is 15.89%. Significantly, the interest among investors around this issue has been rising over the past few days as indicated by the movement of the GMP. It has been rising steadily since Dec 11, when it was at Rs 150. However, it must be remembered that GMP of a public issue is an unofficial indicator and can change with time and cannot guarantee anything -- gain or loss on listing.
