New Delhi: Lenskart or Groww - Whose owner will earn more profit so much that they buy gold up to 4102 kg. From Lenskart to fintech company Groww is all set to make a splash with their IPOs.
Lenskart's IPO opened for subscription from 31st October 2025. At the same time, the public issue of Groww will open from 4th November. In both IPOs, the promoters will sell their shares under OFS. This will benefit them.
The IPO of Lenskart Solutions opened from 31 October. Its price band has been fixed from Rs 382 to Rs 402 per share. The company will raise Rs 7,278.02 crore from this public issue. The IPO includes new shares worth 5.35 crore, while 12.76 crore shares are offered for sale (OFS). The IPO will close on 4th November and the allotment is expected to be finalized on 6th November and the company's shares will likely list on BSE and NSE on 10th November.
Both promoters and institutional investors of the company will participate in the Offer for Sale (OFS) of Lenskart IPO. In this, Piyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart, will sell up to 2.05 crore shares, which is expected to earn about Rs 785.54 crore based on the upper limit of the price band. At the same time, founder member Neha Bansal can benefit around Rs 39.85 crore. Besides this, Amit Chaudhary can also earn good money by selling a small part of his stake up to 2,868,457 equity shares and Sumit Kapahi 2,868,457 equity shares in this IPO.
Groww's parent company Billionbrains Garage Ventures Limited will soon launch the IPO of its online investment platform. Through this issue, the company is preparing to raise about Rs 7,000 crore. The IPO will be open from November 4 to November 7. The price band for the shares has been fixed from Rs 95 to 100 per share.
In the Groww IPO, promoters will sell their stake under OFS. At the same time, by increasing the valuation of the company from the IPO, the earnings of its owners will also increase. According to the ET report, founder of Groww Lalit Keshre expects the stake value to be Rs 5,590.64 crore after the IPO, whereas Harsh Jain's Rs 4,115.79 crore, Neeraj Singh's Rs 3,831.99 crore and Ishaan Bansal's stake value is expected to be Rs 2,777.15 crore.
By increasing the valuation of the company after the IPO, the earnings of the owners of Lenskart and Grow can increase so much that one can buy valuable things like gold in huge quantities. Currently, the current price of gold on MCX is Rs 121,910 per 10 grams. Since Lenskart's co-founder Piyush Bansal is estimated to earn about Rs 800 crore from the IPO, in such a situation about 656.37 kilograms of gold can be purchased. At the same time, GROW founder Lalit Kesre increased his stake value after the IPO, which is estimated to be Rs 5000 crore. After selling it, about 4102.29 kilograms of gold can be purchased. Whereas Groww's other co-founder Ishaan Bansal sells an estimated stake of Rs 4115 crore, then 3375.91 kilograms of gold can be purchased.
