Mutual Fund: Eight NFOs open now; check all thematic funds to ETF FoFs

Eight New Fund Offerings are currently open. Thanks to the bull run in gold and silver prices, three of these eight NFOs are gold and silver ETF fund of funds, or FoFs. One is a passive fund. To know the details about each fund, read on.

Kolkata: Despite volatile stock markets, the mutual fund industry in India continues to display vibrancy. As many as eight New Fund Offerings are open right now. These offer investors the opportunity to buy units of the scheme at Rs 10, which usually climbs after they hot the market. Three of the eight funds are Fund of Funds that are linked to gold and silver ETFs, thanks to the persistent surge in the price of these two commodities. Let's have a look at the details of each.

Bandhan Gold ETF FOF

Bank of India Banking & Financial Services Fund

Min investment: Rs 5,000

Objective of scheme: The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of banking and financial services companies. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.

Groww Small Cap Fund

Min investment: Rs 500 and in multiples of Re. 1/-thereafter

Objective of scheme: The objective of the Scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments of small cap companies. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Exit Load: If redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment: 1% If redeemed after 1 year from the date of allotment: NIL

Kotak Dividend Yield Fund

Min investment: Rs 100

Objective of scheme: An open-ended equity scheme predominantly investing in dividend yielding stocks

Kotak Nifty200 Value 30 Index Fund

Min investment: Rs 100

Objective of scheme: An open-ended equity scheme following services theme

Mahindra Manulife Innovation Opportunities Fund

Min investment: Rs. 1,000 and in multiples of Re. 1/- thereafter

Objective of scheme: The Scheme shall seek to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of companies following innovation theme. However, there is no assurance that the objective of the Scheme will be achieved.

Exit load: An Exit Load of 0.5% is payable if Units are redeemed / switched-out upto 3 months from the date of allotment; • Nil if Units are redeemed / switched-out after 3 months from the date of allotment. Redemption /Switch-Out of Units would be done on First in First Out Basis (FIFO).

The Wealth Company Gold ETF FOF

Objective of scheme: To generate long-term Capital appreciation from a portfolio created by investing in units of The Wealth Company Gold ETF. There is no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved.
