Kolkata: Tenneco Clean Air IPO is designed to raise Rs 3,600 crore only through the issue of fresh shares only. The bidding window opened on Nov 12. At the end of the first day of bidding, Tenneco Clean Air IPO was subscribed 0.44 times overall -- 0.37 times in the retail category, 0.01 times in QIB (ex anchor) category and 1.16 times in the NII category. Tenneco Clean Air IPO has mobilized Rs 1,080.00 crore from anchor investors. As many as 58 anchor investors took part in the round.
Tenneco Clean Air India is a subsidiary of Tenneco Inc., a global leader in designing and manufacturing clean air and powertrain products for automotive applications such as catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters (DPFs), mufflers and exhaust pipes. Its core competence lies in the area of emission control technologies for light and commercial vehicles. It is a prominent player that offers advanced exhaust and after-treatment systems, helping vehicle manufacturers meet emission norms such as Bharat Stage VI. It has 12 manufacturing facilities across India.
According to investorgain, Tenneco Clean Air IPO GMP was Rs 85 in early morning of Nov 13. At this level it signalled a listing gain of 21.41%. On Nov 11, it was at s 66 but jumped to Rs 85 on Nov 12 the first day of bidding. However, it must be remembered that GMP r Grey market premium is an unofficial indicator that can be extremely volatile and does not guarantee anything -- loss or gain -- on listing.
Tenneco Clean Air IPO price band has been fixed at Rs 378-397. The minimum investible lot for a retail investor is 37 for which he/she has to pay an application amount of Rs 14,689 based on upper end of the price band. The minimum lot size investment for sNII investors is 14 lots and that for bNII investors 69 lots. JM Financial is the lead manager and MUFG Intime the registrar of the issue.
