New Delhi: Dr B R Ambedkar College, University of Delhi has invited applications for over 70 teaching and non-teaching positions. The recruitment drive includes various posts which include professor, associate professor, assistant professor, librarian, assistant librarian and assistant director of physical education. Interested applicants can apply through the official recruitment portal at audrec.samarth.edu.in.
Along with the online application, candidates can also submit hard copy of the application form along with the required documents. The last date to receive hard copies is January 16, 2026.
The application fee for candidates who belong to the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Economically Weaker Section EWS categories is Rs 1,000. There is no application fee for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) category candidates and women applicants.
As per the selection process, candidates will be shortlisted based on merit followed by an interview round.
DU Ambedkar College Recruitment 2026: Posts, salary structure
A total of 71 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment drive. The selected candidates will be appointed as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms. The salary offered ranges between Rs 57,700 to Rs 2,18,200 per month, depending on the post and level.
DU Ambedkar College Recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria
- Candidates need to have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with at least 10 years of teaching or research experience, six research publications and a minimum research score of 120.
- PhD degree with first class in graduation or post-graduation, eight years of experience, and six research papers
- Master’s degree with at least 55 per cent marks and NET or PhD as per UGC norms.
- Postgraduate degree in Library Science with 10 years of experience and a PhD.
- Postgraduate degree in Library or Information Science with a minimum of 55 per cent marks
- Postgraduate degree in Sports Science or Physical Education with more than 55 per cent sports participation
- There is no age limit specified for any of the posts.
