SSC CGL 2025 admit card released at ssc.gov.in; check tier 1 exam date

The tier 1 exam is scheduled to be held between September 12 to September 26. The registration number and password are required to log in and download the SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2025 hall ticket.

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2025 admit card. The SSC CGL tier 1 admit card is accessible on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in. The tier 1 exam is scheduled to be held between September 12 to September 26. The registration number and password are required to log in and download the SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2025 hall ticket.

The admit card along with a valid identity proof such as a driving license, voter card, aadhaar card, PAN card, ration card or passport are required on the exam day for verification and get entry to the exam hall.

Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to check and download the SSC CGL admit card tier 1-

  • Step 1: First, go to the official website, ssc.gov.in
  • Step 2: Then, on the homepage, click on the SSC CGL 2025 admit card link.
  • Step 3: The login page appears, where candidates need to enter the password and registration number.
  • Step 4: After submitting the necessary credentials, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. 
  • Step 5: Download the admit card and take the printout of it to carry on the exam day.

The commission has scheduled to conduct the SSC CGL tier 1 exam as a computer-based test (CBT). The SSC CGL phase 1 exam will be held for a total of 14,582 vacancies. Out of the total vacant positions, 6,183 posts are reserved for general, 3,721 for the Other Backward Caste (OBC) category candidates, 2,167 for the Scheduled Caste (SC), 1,088 for the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 1,423 for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates.

The SSC CGL exam city intimation slip was issued for the candidates appearing for the exam. Out of the total registered candidates, 93 per cent have been allotted a centre of their first, second, and third preference. The commission stated, 'The remaining candidates have been allotted centers in nearby places and the average of the distances between the application address and the city in which the centres have been assigned in respect of these candidates is about 168 kilometres'.
