TN govt announces Rs 50,000 aid for UPSC 2025 interview-qualified candidates; apply at naanmudhalvan.tn.gov.in

The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation has invited applications under its Naan Mudhalvan initiative for UPSC Civil Services 2025 qualifiers. Candidates clearing prelims, mains, and interviews will receive Rs 7,500, Rs 25,000, and Rs 50,000 respectively. Applications are open from November 13 to November 24. Candidayes need to apply online via naanmudhalvan.tn.gov.in.

New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), under its Naan Mudhalvan initiative has announced the opening of applications for financial incentives to support candidates who have qualified for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Main Examination 2025.

Eligible candidates can apply for the Naan Mudhalvan financial incentive programme through the official portal, naanmudhalvan.tn.gov.in. The TN financial incentive applications can be submitted by the UPSC 2025 candidates between November 13 to November 24. This scheme aims to provide monetary support to candidates who have cleared various stages of the UPSC CSE exam.

According to TNSDC, the initiative focuses on helping aspirants who have reached the final interview stage, offering direct financial assistance to cover related expenses such as travel, accommodation and training.

Naan Mudhalvan financial incentive amount

Under the Naan Mudhalvan scheme, candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible for a grant of  Rs 7,500 per 10 candidates. Those who pass the main exam will receive Rs 25,000, while final interview qualifiers are entitled to Rs 50,000 each.

For the UPSC 2025 cycle, a total of 659 candidates from Tamil Nadu who cleared the preliminary stage were provided Rs 25,000 each to aid their preparation for the main exam. Out of these, 155 candidates cleared the mains, including 87 trainees from the All India Civil Services Training Centre.

Funds to be directly credited

The Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation ststed that all eligible candidates qualifying for the main exam and shortlisted for the interview will receive Rs 50,000 directly credited to their bank accounts. The disbursement will be made under the Naan Mudhalvan – Civil Services Interview Department.

This initiative aims to ensure that aspirants from Tamil Nadu are get the financial help while pursuing one of India’s most competitive exams.
