Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the recruitment notification for the post of Lecturer (Pravakta) in Government Inter Colleges (GIC). It has released the UPPSC GIC Lecturer recruitment 2025 notification for a total of 1516 vacancies.
Candidates who are eligible to register for UPPSC GIC Lecturer recruitment 2025 can do so through the official portal at uppsc.up.nic.in. Interested candidates must note that the online application process will close tomorrow, September 12. Candidates must note that the online application correction window will remain open till September 19, 2025.

Candidates must have a master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university, along with a BEd, to register for the UPPSC GIC Lecturer recruitment 2025. One should also have knowledge of Hindi at Class 10 level. The upper age limit is 40 years as on July 1, 2025.
The selection of candidates for the post of Lecturer in government colleges will be based on the preliminary examination. It is followed by the Mains examination, which is a descriptive type. Candidates who stand out in the Mains exam will be called for an interview.
