New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 examination result 2025. A total of 9,085 candidates have qualified for the interview round, which will be conducted by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. The UPSC CDS 2 result 2025 can be checked at upsc.gov.in. The candidature of the candidates, whose roll numbers are in the list is provisional.
The selected candidates will get admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 161st (DE) course commencing in July, 2026; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, course commencing in July, 2026; Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course [220 F(P)] commencing in July, 2026; Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 124th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) course commencing in October, 2026 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras), 124th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) course commencing in October, 2026.
The UPSC CDS 2 result marksheet of the candidates will be available on the commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result of the OTA course (after conducting SSB Interview) and will remain available on the website for a period of 30 days.
In accordance with the conditions of admission to the exam, candidates must submit the original certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, NCC (C) (Army Wing, Senior Division Air Wing or Naval Wing) and others.
The documents need to be submitted to IHQ of MoD (Army) or Dte Gen of Rtg (Rtg A) CDSE Entry Section for SSC male candidates and SSC women entry Section for female candidates, West Block 3, R K Puram, New Delhi-110066 in case of IMA or SSC first choice candidates, and IHQ of MOD (Navy) 'DMPR' (OI and R section), Room number 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates, and Dte of Personnel (Offrs), Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110001 in case of Air Force first choice candidates by the following dates failing which their candidature will stand cancelled. he
Candidates need to submit the original certificates by July 1, 2026 for IMA and INA, and by May 13, 2026 for AFA and by October 1, 2026 for SSC course. Candidates must not send any original certificates to the commission.
Candidates who have qualified in the written exam and given the first choice as Army (IMA or OTA) are required to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates will then receive call-up information for the SSB interview. Those candidates who have already registered on the recruiting directorate website are advised not to register again.
If there is any change of address, candidates need to inform the Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters or Air Headquarters, as the case may be.
