New Delhi: Actor Ashish Vidyarthi and his Wife Rupali were hit by a Speeding Bike in Guwahati. Late-night scare grips fans as veteran Bollywood star and spouse suffer injuries after dinner outing.
What did the powerful actor say live from the hospital? Is everyone safe now? Quick update calms social media storm.
Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi and his wife Rupali Barua faced a shocking road mishap in Guwahati's Zoo Road area late Friday night. The couple was crossing the road near The Guwahati Address Hotel after dinner when a speeding motorcycle from the Chandmari side rammed into them.
Locals quickly called the police from the Geetanagar station, and emergency teams rushed them for checks. The biker, on an Avenger bike (AS-01-DY-5061), also got hurt badly and went to Gauhati Medical College Hospital.
Panic spread online with wild reports, but Ashish Vidyarthi went live on Instagram from Apollo Hospital to calm fans. "Just to let you all know, because I’m seeing all kinds of things being reported on many news channels.... Rupali and I were crossing a street yesterday when a bike hit us. We are both fine. Rupali is under observation, and everything is okay. I’m good too. I’ve had a small injury, but that’s it. I’m absolutely fine. I am walking, talking, standing—everything is normal," he said in the video. He urged no hype: "There is nothing to sensationalise."
Rupali stays under watch as a precaution, but her condition remains stable with no big worries, as per the actor. Ashish stressed both are recovering well with family support and top medical care. He even checked on the biker with the police, learning the rider has regained consciousness. "I wish well for everyone... Our family and people are around us, and we are being taken very good care of by the emergency staff at Apollo. I just want to say thank you," Vidyarthi added gratefully.
Known for villain roles in over 300 films across languages, Ashish now shines as a food-travel vlogger with 2.4 million YouTube fans, exploring Northeast spots. His quick, honest update won hearts amid the buzz. No police case details yet, but a quick response from locals and staff saved the day. Fans flood social media with prayers, proving the star's strong connection.
