New Delhi: The much-awaited controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 19, is set to have its grand premiere this month. On Wednesday (August 13), the makers unveiled the new promo of the show, revealing the new format and theme. This time, the house will be ruled by ‘democracy’ and ‘gharwaalon ki sarkaar’.
Not only the contestants but viewers will also have a power and they would be able to choose between Shehbaaz Badesha or Mridul Tiwari as one of the contestants. Let’s dive into further details about the highly-awaited reality show.
Bigg Boss 19 premiere date
Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 will have its grand premiere on August 24. It will air on JioHotstar at 9 pm and Colors at 10:30 pm.

Viewers will have the power to decide which contestant will enter the house, which will be in line with this season’s theme of ‘democracy’ and ‘gharwalon ki sarkar’. In a one-of-a-kind initiative, ‘Fans Ka Faisla’, puts the power directly in the hands of the audience which will shape the course of the game.
Two contestants, Shehbaz Badesha, who is the brother of Shehnaaz Gill, and Mridul Tiwari, India’s most followed YouTuber, will compete for a single spot and viewers will decide who will enter the show.
Fans can vote for the contestants they want to see inside the controversial house on JioHotstar and its open now. Voting lines will remain open until 11:59 pm on August 21.
Bigg Boss 19 tentative contestant list
According to Siasat report, television actress Shafaz Naaz, who made headlines during the Tunisha Sharma case, will be entering the house. ActressAshnoor Kaur, best known for Jhansi Ki Rani, might also enter the show. Other contestants expected to enter the reality show are Anupama actor Gaurav Khanna, Siwet Tomar, social media influencer Payal Gaming, Hunar Hali Gandhi, Arbaaz Patel, and Splitsvilla contestant Khank Wadhwani.
Other rumoured names are Dhanashree Verma, Kirak Khaala, Sreerama Chandra, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Gurucharan Singh, Apoorva Mukhija, and Kirak Khaala, among others.
