He humorously recalled asking Anil Kapoor why he made the film, as it created high public expectations for immediate change. Fadnavis also shared that if he were to direct a film about Maharashtra, the opening scene would depict Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation, symbolising the re-establishment of self-rule.
