New Delhi: In a heartfelt conversation with Barun Das, the MD and CEO of TV9 Network, Kingdom star opened up about his title “rowdy” that was given to him by his parents. On Duologue With Barun Das, the actor also revealed what inspired him to become a person he is today and what shaped his life. He not only gave credit to his father but also spoke about two other relationships in his life that “played a very big role" in his life, personally and professionally.
In an exclusive conversation with Vijay Deverakonda on Duologue With Barun Das, the actor shared that he often seeks out the opinions of others to gain perspective and talked about his inner circle, outside the entertainment industry with whom he shares a close bond.
Vijay also emphasised the driving force behind his success and said, “The only inspiration and motivation that drew me to do who I am today has very clearly been wanting to change my life. It’s being a want for money, somehow he knew that money is the centre of this world and it was a fight for respect. You wanted to be respected, you wanted comfort for your family. It was nice to see your parents fight so hard. It was mainly money, respect and making a name.”
The actor, who is celebrating the success of Kingdom, also revealed the one rule his parents had in their household. He shared, “Sometimes when I would just not listen to them and not follow what was asked of me. It’s been the case always, some sort of it, but they would always let me be as long. There was one rule – there are consequences to every action that you take, and if you are capable of handling these consequences for your actions.”
