Mumbai: An iconic moment was born when two legendary filmmakers, James Cameron and SS Rajamouli, came together to discuss  Avatar: Fire and Ash. Their candid conversation explored the nuances of making large-scale movies. The two filmmakers also expressed their admiration for each other's works. 

During the interaction, the filmmakers spoke about the art of storytelling, especially in the scale of their kind of movies. The duo touched upon the creative process they follow as filmmakers. Cameron and Rajamouli also talked about their nervousness before the release of their films. The interaction between the two allowed their fans to understand the workings of their mind and the processes they follow while helming colossal projects.

During the talk, Rajamouli shared his feelings while watching Avatar: Fire and Ash. He told Cameron that he felt like a child in the theatre. He went on to praise Cameron's ability to tell stories with emotion while also focusing on creating a cinematic wonder for his audience. He then told Cameron that the Avatar franchise is the benchmark for large, immersive cinema experiences. He even shared that Avatar ran for a year in IMAX in Hyderabad.

Cameron, in turn, told Rajamouli that he wanted to visit his film set. 

The conversation between the two showcased how art was pushing boundaries and creating a bridge between Hollywood and the Indian film industry. 

'Avatar: Fire and Ash' release 

Avatar: Fire and Ash is Cameron's third film in the Avatar instalment. It is scheduled to release on December 19, 2025. Like the previous films in the Avatar franchise, this movie also brings cinematic technology like never before, with a mind-blowing and unforgettable visual experience.
