The Raja Saab advance booking: Momentum is clearly on Prabhas’s side as The Raja Saab builds a solid buzz at the box office even before its theatrical debut. The pan-India horror comedy, directed by Maruthi, is scheduled to hit cinemas on January 9, and early numbers suggest the film is heading for a confident opening across key markets.

Advance booking figures paint an encouraging picture. In the Telugu 2D circuit, The Raja Saab has already grossed Rs 2.38 crore through the sale of 84,894 tickets across 1,381 shows, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The response underlines Prabhas’s continued pull in his home market, especially after recent high-profile projects that kept fan interest alive.

The film’s Hindi 2D version has also started on a steady note. It has collected Rs 3.76 lakh from 3,688 tickets across more than 700 shows. While the numbers remain modest compared to the Telugu belt, the wide release indicates strong distributor confidence. Meanwhile, the Tamil 2D screenings have brought in Rs 12,070 from 77 tickets across 12 shows, marking a quieter start but still adding to the overall tally.

Premium formats have added further weight to the film’s advance collections. Telugu Dolby Cine shows have earned Rs 29,550 from 70 tickets across three shows. The real boost, however, comes from the Hindi Dolby Cine format, which has generated a notable Rs 1.12 crore from 40,725 tickets spread over 1,519 shows. These figures highlight growing interest in high-end viewing experiences, particularly in metro cities.

Ticket pricing has also played a role in shaping the film’s pre-release buzz. As per an Andhra Pradesh government directive, ticket prices for paid premiere shows have been capped at Rs 1,000.
