YouTuber Armaan Malik and his two wives in legal trouble over multiple marriages
YouTuber Armaan Malik along with his two wives, Payal and Kritika Malik, have been summoned by a Patiala court after a petition was filed against them over multiple marriages.
New Delhi: YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 fame Armaan Malik and his two wives, Payal and Kritika Malik, have been summoned by a Patiala district court in two separate cases. According to Live Hindustan, the court has issued notices to the trio asking them to appear on September 2.
Armaan, Payal, and Kritika were summoned after a petition was filed by Davinder Rajput, who has alleged that Armaan has had four marriages and not just two.
Armaan Malik in legal trouble
Davinder Rajput also stated in his petition that Armaan Malik has violated the Hindu Marriage Act, which only permits one marriage at a time for people practising Hinduism. In addition, the petition also accuses Armaan and Payal of hurting religious sentiments. It further stated that Payal had dressed as Hindu goddess Kali in a video, shared on Instagram.
The petitioner also claimed that the act insulted religious beliefs and is a punishable offence. Payal’s video sparked a massive outrage, after which she visited Maa Kali temple in Patiala to offer prayers and apologise for her actions. She also visited Kali temple in Mohali where she reportedly undertook a seven-day religious punishment, which included temple cleaning and rituals. Armaan and Payal travelled to Haridwar where they sought forgiveness from Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri of the Niranjani Akhara.

He rose to fame a s a content creator and gained nationwide recognition with Salman Khan-hosted show, Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. He entered the controversial house with his two wives, Payal and Kritika, and faced a lot of trolling due to the marriage arrangement between the trio.
