Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a significant organisational appointment at the national level, naming Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin as its new National Executive President.
The decision, effective immediately, received approval from the party’s Parliamentary Board and was formally communicated through an order issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh.
Nitin Nabin currently serves as a minister in the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, where he holds the Road Construction portfolio. His elevation to this key national role signals a strategic move by the BJP as it navigates a transition phase and reshapes its top leadership.
The appointment comes after incumbent National President JP Nadda, who assumed charge in January 2020, completed his original term and received multiple extensions to guide the party through critical political periods, including the recent general elections. This move positions the party strategically ahead of upcoming political challenges and elections.
