Three Odisha Police personnel have been suspended for torturing a man in custody. 28-year-old Rabindra Mallik, a resident of Mahipur village in Barachana block of Odisha's Jajpur district, consumed pesticide inside Balichandrapur police station on August 3 after he was allegedly tortured in police custody.

The Odisha Police have arrested three persons, including two minors for allegedly raping a woman in the Angul district of Odisha. At that time, three people came on a tractor and sexually assaulted her.
