This initiative capitalises on India's burgeoning startup scene and Germanys renowned industrial innovation, forging new pathways for companies to access global markets, capital, and talent.

Volker Hasbargen, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Karlsruhe, highlighted the city's long-standing tradition of fostering innovation. Karlsruhe, home to institutions like the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), provides a fertile ground for startups, offering low-rent facilities and access to seasoned industry experts.

This supportive environment ensures that promising ventures can transition from ideation to real-world business, strengthening the regions economic development and driving sustainable transformation.

The panel showcased two exemplary startups benefiting from this cross-border collaboration. Anuradha Nimbalka presented Unbox, an art-based educational and creative platform that has achieved significant success in India through partnerships with schools and museums. Nimbalka expressed her ambition to expand into Germany, recognising its strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.
