Delhi BMW Crash: Finance Ministry Officials Death Fuels Cover-Up Allegations

A Delhi BMW crash claimed the life of Navjot Singh, a 52-year-old Finance Ministry official. His wife, Sandeep Kaur, alleges the driver took them to a distant hospital despite her pleas for closer medical attention. The death of Navjot Singh, a 52-year-old Deputy Secretary in India's Finance Ministry, following a BMW car crash near Delhi Cantonment, has sparked controversy. Singh and his wife were involved in a collision with a motorcycle and subsequently taken to a hospital 19 kilometers away, bypassing several closer facilities.

Sandeep Kaur, Singh's wife, alleges that she repeatedly requested to be taken to a nearer hospital but was ignored by the driver of the BMW, Gagandeep Kaur. The FIR, obtained exclusively by News9, includes Section 238A, relating to the destruction and concealment of evidence. Singh's son has also stated that the delay in receiving treatment contributed significantly to his fathers death.

The accused are receiving treatment for minor injuries, with Delhi Police set to record their statements. The case is under investigation, and several non-bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code have been applied.
