New Delhi: Dussehra always bring excitement and fun among adults and kids alike. Known as Vijaya Dashami, this significant festival in India marks the victory of good over evil. The festival is rooted in the epic Ramayan, where the supreme antagonist Lanka King Ravan kidnapped Lord Rama’s wife, Sita. This incident triggered a battle, ending in the defeat of Ravan. Since then, Dussehra celebrates the triumph of Lord Rama over Ravan by burning an effigy of Ravan, his son Meghnad, and his brother Kumbhkaran.
