New Delhi: Radha Ashtami, a significant Hindu festival, celebrates the birth of Radha Rani, the divine consort of Krishna. This auspicious festival falls on the Ashtami Tithi during Shukla Paksha of the Bhadrapada month, usually between August and September in the English calendar, exactly 15 days after Janmashtami. In 2025, Radha Ashtami will be observed on August 31. This festival is marked by special prayers, fasting, and devotional songs at home, temples and various institutions dedicated to Radha Rani, who symbolises unconditional love and devotion.
