Men in Blue skipper dedicated the victory to the Indian armed forces in the post-match presentation. With this win, India qualified for the Super 4 stage after winning two consecutive games in the group stage.

Here is how fans reacted on social media:

Despite the match being a one-sided affair, full drama on the field and off the field happened in Dubai. It all started with India's skipper Suryakumar Yadav refusing to shake hands during the toss.

In the pre-match ceremony, the DJ played Jason Derulo's 'Jalebi Baby' song for about six seconds before the Pakistan national anthem. It left Pakistan's players confused in the Dubai International Stadium.

Earlier, Indian bowlers lit up the stage with their fierce bowling performance. Hardik Pandya gave the first breakthrough on the first legal delivery, and Jasprit Bumrah struck off from the other end to dismiss two Pakistan batters in the first two overs.

After a horrific start, Pakistan were never in the contest, and with some handy runs from the bowlers, they finished their innings on 127 runs in 20 overs.

In response, Abhishek Sharma charged at Shaheen Afridi in the first over by smashing a four and a six in the first two deliveries. Men in Blue comfortably cruised to victory as Surya smashed a winning six to close out the match and defeated Pakistan by seven wickets.
