New Delhi: After a 0-2 drubbing in the recently-concluded Test series, India would like to make the most of it in the ODI series against South Africa beginning on Sunday. The first match of the three-game series will take place at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium in Ranchi on November 30.
This highly-awaited series will mark the return of veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to international cricket after a gap of over one month. Indian cricket team would want the legendary duo to fire full throttle in the 50-over games so that they feel at home during the series which they haven't till now.
The three-match ODI series in October against Australia, which India lost 1-2, was Rohit and Kohli’s first international assignment since they retired from Test cricket. The legends took time to get going in the 50-over matches due to less match practice, having retired from T20Is as well. But both the senior players fired in the final ODI of the series with sensational scores at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
