Washington DC: Microsoft began laying off employees as part of their recent job cuts. One man, who was affected by the process, took to LinkedIn to bid farewell to the company and his colleagues. He called it a "bittersweet" moment.
Chris Bynum, a US-based employee who worked as Customer Success Account Management - Manager, was laid off after completing 25 years with Microsoft in May. The unexpected incident impacted the man's team. However, he claimed he was looking forward to new opportunities.
"In May, I celebrated a significant milestone at Microsoft - 25 years of dedicated service. Today, however, marks a bittersweet moment as I share that I have been laid off,” said Byum. He added, "To all those I've had the privilege to work alongside, I am grateful for the cherished memories we've created and I extend my best wishes for the paths you will tread in the future."

According to Associated Press, the tech giant started its fresh set of layoffs on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the organisation stated, "We continue to implement organisational changes necessary to best position the company and teams for success in a dynamic marketplace."
