New Delhi: The Monster has been Ducati’s most popular and recognisable model ever, and the 2026 upgrade is expected to come with quite a few significant changes. The Ducati is likely to call it the Monster V2 and will come with a 890 cc V-twin engine.
This will be kind of the same in the new Panigale V2, Streetfighter V2 and Multistrada V2. The bike was recently spotted testing, where there were evidence that it wouldn’t be using a 937 cc Testastretta motor. The 890 cc V-twin is likely to produce somewhere around 115 bhp and 120 bhp. Other changes are likely to be a new subframe, along with completely revamped styling and a weight reduction.
Ducati’s official Instagram did post the teaser, which shows an older generation Monster’s tank with sketches of how the new generation of the track might look, highlighting the same silhouette. Perse, the current generation has a much sleeker tank.
The teaser concludes with a lit-up letter ‘M’, with a hint of a new taillight design as well. At the front, it comes with a round headlight, a distinguishing element of all Monster models. The bike is likely going to be unveiled next week at the Ducati World Premier 2026. Ducati have been giving their portfolio some nice touch-up more recently, including with the 2026 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift Emerald Green.
