New Delhi: At EICMA 2025, Hero have shown quite a few products under their own banner along with their electric subsidiary Vida. In the ICE models, the brand has shown Xthe pulse 210 Dakar Edition and the Hunk 440 SX.
Quite like how Hero did with Xpulse 200, the brand has unveiled the Dakar Edition for the newer 210. The Dakar Edition comes with a longer-travel suspension with 280 mm of travel at both ends, with some adjustability baked into it. As a result, it now gets a towering 270 mm ground clearance and the seat height is now now up by substantially over Xpulse 210’s 830 mm height. Hero hasn’t said much on this, though.
Overall, the bike is the same, and the 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine will produce 24.6 bhp and 20.7 Nm of torque as it does with the standard Xpulse.
The Hunk 440 is more or the Mavrick 440 that is sold in the foreign market, and while the export version comes with a golden USD fork and a TFT display. The Hunk 440 SX comes with big aesthetic differences.
In terms of features, it gets A braced handlebar, a flyscreen, and a larger 18-inch front wheel with distinct wheel designs at both ends that define the front profile. At the rear, it features split seats, a revised grab rail, a longer fender at the back, and a new tail-lamp design. There are also a robust engine guard and an upswept twin-port exhaust.
Unlike the export version, Hunk 440, the Hunk 440 SX gets a gaitered telescopic fork. With the design trademarked a year ago, it is most likely to be sold in India as well. A big difference is that Hunter 440 SX comes with an electronic throttle, which allows Hero to have riding modes and traction control, but the details are yet to be given.
