MINI Convertible has seen a complete sell-off within 24 hours of being launched. The MINI Convertible packs several features, including a high-resolution OLED display called the MINI Interaction Unit.
New Delhi: The first batch of the new MINI Convertible was sold out within the first 24 hours of being launched in India on December 12th, 2025. The car was bought as a completely-built unit at an ex-showroom price of Rs 58,50,000.
President and CEO, BMW Group India, Hardeep Singh, said, "That was quick! The speed at which the all-new MINI Convertible sold underscores how strongly our community resonates with irresistible design and a genuinely fun, authentic driving experience. We anticipated excitement, but this immediate embrace of the MINI lifestyle has been extraordinary. MINI owners don't follow trends; they carve their own path, top down. We can't wait to see this iconic MINI adding a burst of energy to streets across India.”
MINI Convertible features and powertrain
On the outside, the MINI Convertible focuses on what made the MINI such an iconic shape in general. It gets standard LED headlights with three light signatures to emphasise the car’s character. MINI is available with aerodynamically optimised 8-inch alloy wheels, offered as either Slide Spoke 2-tone or Flash Spoke 2-tone designs. Its premium black soft top can be completely lowered in 18 seconds and raised in 15 seconds.
The roof can also be partially opened up to 40 cm to function like a sunroof, and this feature is usable at any speed.
On the inside, the cabin packs inspiration from the classic Mini, coming with clean lines and minimalist controls. At the centre of the dashboard, there is a round, high-resolution OLED display called the MINI Interaction Unit, which works as both the instrument cluster and central infotainment screen.
For voice control, it is handled by the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, activated with the phrase "Hey MINI,” while the MINI Digital Key Plus allows a smartphone to work as a car key with the help of the MINI application. There’s a head-up display that projects essentially information right in the driver’s field of view and comes along with a Harman Kardon surround sound system for an amazing audio experience.
The MINI Convertible S is powered by a petrol engine that uses the new MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and makes 204 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. This makes for the car doing 0-100 kph in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 240 kph.
