New Delhi: The biggest highlight of the fifth generation of the TVS MotoSoul was the Ronin Agonda Edition’s reveal. TVS have said that this limited-edition motorcycle was inspired by the aesthetics of the Agonda beach in Goa and is the first in a series of special editions made on the Ronin platform.
The most distinctive feature of the Ronin Agonda Edition is the colour scheme. It comes with a white base paint job with retro blue and red pinstripes running across the fuel tank. The tank top features unique Agonda badging, and the bike comes with a new seat cover, completing the look.
It is all just aesthetics, and mechanically, it is still the same as the base Ronin. It is still powered by a 225.9 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine making 20.4 bhp and 19.9 Nm of torque, and is mated with a five-speed gearbox and even a slipper and assist clutch.
Being based on the entry-level trim means the Agonda Edition comes with single-channel ABS and an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. It though misses out features on the higher trims like dual-channel ABS, adjustable levers and golden USD front fork.
Priced at Rs 1.31 lakh, the Ronin Agonda Edition sits between the base variant and the mid-spec variant (Rs 1.49 lakh). TVS have said that by the end of the month, the Ronin edition will reach the dealerships pan-India.
