Kolkata: Launched in 2005 Canara Robeco Large and Mid Cap Fund has an asset size of Rs 25092.46 crore. Its NAV stood at Rs 260.6 on July 2, 2025. It has an expense ratio of 1.6% against a category average of 1.89%. The fund was earlier known as Canara Robeco Emerging Equities.
This fund, as the name indicates, invests both in large cap and mid cap stocks. While the mid cap stocks generate higher returns over the long term, the large cap stocks lend stability and solidity to the performance. Disaggregated into different market caps, this fund has 95.53% of its investment in Indian equities of which 19.23% is in large cap stocks, 36.23% in mid cap stocks and 14.26% in small cap stocks. According to data, more than 8.45 lakh investors entrust their hard earned money with this fund.
Canara Robeco Large and Mid Cap Fund has generated annualized returns of 6.17%, 21.76% and 23.96% over the past one year, three years and five years respectively. An amount of Rs 10,000 invested one year ago turned into Rs 10,617, while the same amount invested three years ago has grown into Rs 18,070. If invested five years ago, Rs 10,000 would have turned into Rs 29,284 and 10 years ago, the same amount would have become Rs 43,549. But if someone invested Rs 10,000 at the inception of the fund -- 20 years ago -- it would have turned into Rs 2,60,600.
A monthly SIP of Rs 1,000 in this fund would have generated Rs 12,709 (annualised return 11.17%) in one year, Rs 28,699 (annualised return 18.24%) in two years, Rs 48,244 (annualised return 19.96%) in three years, Rs 95,805 (annualised return 18.78%) in five years and Rs 2,95,404 (annualised return 17.16%) in 10 years. However, it must be remembered that the past returns don't necessarily guarantees the same performance in future.
