Dhanashree-Yuzvendra still in touch; Farah Khan trolled for cashing in on their divorce

New Delhi: Choreographer and ex-wife of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma made some revelations about her divorce on the Farah Khan’s vlog. She mentioned that she and Yuzvendra have moved on and their issues are nearly settled. She also shared that the two of them are in touch over text messages. She said, “I am in touch with Yuzi also on messages. He used to call me maa, he is sweet only."

The 28-year-old choreographer also revealed that she is manifesting love after her much-publicised divorce. However, the particular vlog of Farah Khan has now caught attention for all the wrong reasons.

While the vlog went viral, some Redditors criticised Farah Khan for milking on Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal’s divorce in her vlog. One user wrote on Reddit, “I just watched Farah Khan’s latest YouTube video with Dhanashree and honestly found it odd. Farah kept circling back to her marriage with Yuzvendra, even though Dhanashree gave vague, uninterested answers. I’ve seen Farah interview bigger celebs with exes & divorces but never push that angle with them. It came off a bit condescending, like she felt more comfortable being casually insensitive because Dhanashree isn’t a huge star.”

Another commented, “This is so true! It was so uncomfortable watching the whole thing. Farah did come across as highly insensitive. Whatever the intentions were, whether it was Dhanashree’s PR or not, it didn’t make Farah look good at all." Another person mentioned, “Yeah, she was repeatedly asking about Yuzi and her past, how they met and whatnot after separation, she was doing it for views."

Another pointed out, “In the beginning she was joking about "Dhan"/money. I felt she was trying to flame those gold digger allegations against Dhanashree.”

In March this year, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma filed a joint plea in a family court seeking divorce by mutual consent. The duo tied the knot in 2020 and got separated in 2022.
