New Delhi: In a startling revelation, Pakistan’s Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, claimed that they have killed their "own citizens." Chaudhry reveals Pakistani casualties
Chaudhry said during the briefing that "India carried out attacks and killed Pakistanis, and we also killed our own citizens. We didn’t carry out attacks in Afghanistan to kill Afghans; we killed Pakistanis."
He also claimed that India and Afghanistan could launch a united attack on Pakistan, and mocked by saying, "aa jao tum dono ka sawagat hai (you two are welcome)". He warned both the nations and said, "Mazaa na kraayaa, toh paise vaapis” (If you don’t enjoy it, money back).
'Pakistan needs to become hard state'
Chaudhry called for Pakistan to become a 'hard state' in 2026, and also claimed that India would "never recognise" the existence of Pakistan. He also revealed that his country's political leadership, military, and public mindset were aligned in confrontation. He said Pakistan would deal with enemies "from above or below, from the right or left, alone or together."
Also, he shared details of Pakistani soldiers who were killed during the conflict in May after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 innocent civilians. India retaliated with Operation Sindoor, destroying several terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir. He also showed images of Pakistani soldiers killed by Afghan forces and unidentified gunmen.
Pakistan halts Sarabjeet Kaur’s deportation to India
Meanwhile, Pakistan took a U-turn and paused Sarabjeet Kaur's deportation to India. She is a woman from Punjab who reached Pakistan last year, where she reportedly converted to Islam and got married. The deportation was halted despite both sides making arrangements. The latest development has led to fresh questioning over her legal status and on what conditions she continues to stay in Pakistan.
